Replacement of routine preventive-maintenance components – oils, filters, brake pads, among others. We place special emphasis on assessing and validating all remaining systems to ensure they’re fully operational, with updates at every step.
Technical diagnosis with dedicated tools and measurements to determine the root cause and the required intervention. Comprehensive engine and gearbox repairs, carried out subject to client approval with transparency and updates throughout the process.

At Garagem Pereiró, nothing is old – everything is living heritage.
In 2024, Gonçalo and Nuno brought method and engineering to a long-held passion to create a place where classic cars are listened to, felt, and cared for.
From different worlds, Gonçalo grew up among lines of code but tuned his heart to the rumble of classics and the smell of gasoline; Nuno was born among wrenches and engines – Automotive Engineering taught him that the right torque, a trained ear, and respect for authenticity.
Guided by inherited passions, they chose the same destination: to keep classics alive, safe, reliable, and faithful to their spirit.

Not always. With classics, incomplete histories and past interventions can hide issues. We start with a 360° assessment and a priority-led diagnosis (safety → performance → comfort), then propose a phased plan — no surprises.
It varies a lot. It depends on the diagnosis, cold/hot testing, and often parts availability. We provide a realistic window, regular updates, and phase the work: what’s essential now, improvements later.
In many cases, no. We prefer a phased estimate with approval checkpoints. If something new appears after opening/measuring, we speak with you first.
We look for original, reproduction or period-correct equivalents. If needed, we use rebuilding/machining. We never compromise safety or authenticity.
With classics, “perfect” is a moving target. We guarantee method, rigor, and testing (cold/hot cycles + road test). If something arises, we adjust and fine-tune until it’s spot on.
Our goal is to respect the period. We prioritize reversible adjustments and document all work. Permanent changes are proposed only with your approval.
No. We specialize in maintenance, inspections, and tuning. We perform mechanical restorations of engines and transmissions. For full restorations—bodywork, paint, and interiors—we recommend partners and can manage the entire process with you.
